Schaefer + Associates LLC was founded by Diane Schaefer in 2000 to provide Eldercare consulting services to older adults and their families in the Greater Baltimore / Harford / Howard County area. She is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager [CMC] and Certified Senior Advisor [CSA] and earned her BA and MA degrees from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.

Diane is a member of the Board of Directors of the Baltimore County Provider Council; Advisory Board member of the JHU Certificate on Aging program; member of the Board of Directors of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the NAPGCM; serves on the planning committee for the Maryland Gerontological Association annual conferences, among other volunteer activities.

She provides educational seminars to a variety of local groups including alumni associations, professional groups and caregivers.
